Kohlroserl is situated on the outskirts of Ramsau am Dachstein (Ramsau Kulm and Ramsau Ort) in the Steiermark region of Austria. It lies in the Enn valley about 100km south of Salzberg

Road
Take the Tauern Autobahn, A10/E55, leaving at junction 63, near Eben im Pongau,
along the B320/E651, Ennstal .
(A 10 day motorway vignette costs a few Euros from petrol stations.
Alternatively, use the B99.)
At Schaldming, take the exit up the hill and then turn left again, along
Ramsaustrasse. After several bends you will reach the village of
Ramsau Kulm. Continue
until you have passed a supermarket, Billa, on your left. Then turn
to the right, along Vordere
Ramsau. All the drives leaving this road are signed with a white
number on a red circle. Turn left at 118. Kohlroserl is the second
chalet on the left.
Train
The nearest railway station is in Schaldming, a few kilometres away. There
is a bus service which passes Kohlroserl but a taxi is probably better.
Plane
Salzberg airport is100km from Ramsau, which takes about 1 hour by car.
There are flights to several UK airports each day, including Coventry.
Leave the city by a short stretch of the A1/E55 Autobahn then join the A10/E55
Tauern Autobahn as above.
There are also trains to Schladming.
Munich airport is 265km away, about 3 hours by car. It is one of Europe's
largest airports and connects to many UK airports every day.
Take the A92/E53 towards Munchen and then the A9/E45 south to the Ring Road,
A99/E5, (Kreuz Munchen Nord). Leave at junction 6, (Kreuz Munchen Sud)
along A8/E45. This becomes A10/E55 Tauern
